My skin is usually really dry year-round. Last year I discovered REN'S Evercalm Global Day Protector and quickly fell in love. It provided what felt like thick moisture, but it played SO nice under makeup! My skin feels moisturized for HOURS and it keeps my makeup from caking because of dryness. In short, it is my holy grail moisturizer!
After finishing my second bootle of the Evercalm Global Protector, I went on Sephora to order my third... but before I could place my order, I saw this set and it caught my eye. It was originally $48 USD, but it was (and still is) on sale for $29. I was jumping up and down, because the day cream itself is $48, but this set was offering my a full size of my holy grail PLUS sample sizes of their glycolic acid and Instant Firming Beauty Shot. I couldn't pass the deal!
So far, I keep using the day cream every day, and have tried the glycolic acid, which has some difference in my skin. I have used it twice. My skin is usually red at first (no pain), but after a couple hours the redness goes away and my skin GLOWS! For reference, I have sensitive skin and the product STATES that this particular product isn't suitable for sensitive skin... but I decided to try it anyways, using caution. I love the results, but I do get red cheeks after using it. I had never used glycolic acid in the past, which makes me wonder if the redness reaction will still be an occurrence once my skin gets used to the acid.
